We’ve been seeing a lot more of Paris Jackson in 2017. First, she attended the Grammy’s back in February, where she both sat in the audience and presented an award. Then there was the gorgeous Harper’s Bazaar cover where she channeled (and basically looked identical to) Madonna in the ’80s. And yesterday, the 19-year-old accepted an award for “Emerging Talent” at the Daily Front Row’s Fashion LA Awards. And while Jackson and her makeup artist Vincent Oquendo kept things expectedly minimal (we know from past interviews that Jackson dislikes wearing eye shadow), her major lashes were the stuff makeup dreams are made of. Luckily, we spoke to Oquendo about how he achieved the look.

Before any bells and whistles, Oquendo started by prepping her skin, using a Decléor face mask and Decléor Neroli Face Oil, followed by a layer of Dr. Barbara Sturm Hyaluronic Serum massaged on top (the latter being a favorite of many Allure editors actually). Once Jackson’s skin was good and moisturized, Oquendo used EX1 Cosmetics Delete Concealer and a mix of two different shades of EX1 Invisiwear Foundation, set with two different shades of the EX1 Invisiwear Compact Powder (all shown below). “I always use a lighter foundation and powder on the under eye area to draw attention to the eyes,” he explains.
